Side Seal Bags

Side Seal bags have heat sealing on both sides of the bag and the bottom is folded of the parent film.  Handles or air holes & bottom gusset can be formed prior to the cutting and sealing operation, there are a number of variations on the side seal process.

They are popular in packing of lightweight items 1-2kgs.

Twin Seal Bags

They are an extra strong version of side seal bags made from center folded film and sealed using a double seal on both sides. They offer extra protection and can be used for applications where security or heavy duty items are packed. Handles or air holes & bottom gusset can be formed prior to the cutting and sealing operation, there are a number of variations on the side seal process.

Bottom Seal Bags

Bottom Seal bags are made using lay flat tubing. The bag forming machine seals the bag and cuts the bag just below the seal. Handles or air holes can be formed prior to the cutting and sealing operation & can have side gusset if required. These heavy duty Bottom sealed bags are used for carrying materials like grain, flour, sand, cement, granules etc.

Bottom seal bags are extremely strong – a 150 micron bag loaded with 25 kg of plastic granules can survive a fall from over 3 meters.

Multi Compartment Bags

These are side seal or twin seal bags having compartments or partitions in it. Multiple types of partitions are possible as seen in the illustrations.

These are used for bundling in offer bags or products which have multiple components which need differentiation etc.

Wicket Bags

These are side seal bags which are bunched together on top with either hot blocking or a folded wire which go into a dispensing /hanging unit. To use the operator doesn’t have to use hands to hold the bag whereby increasing the speed of packing & they are also an integral part of automatic packing machine lines. Wicketed poly bags are used extensively in the following markets: Baked goods, including bread, tortillas, etc.

They are manufactured fully made from starch based material which are tear and weather-resistant. It comes in various size with different types of packing, like side gusset, bottom gusset & side seal.
They are used by companies who are looking for an alternate to plastic material.
These are fully compostable at home or industrial composting units.
